Darden Shuman

Darden Shuman is a junior in the French and Italian department with minors in English and the History and Practice of Diplomacy. She is interested in exploring the current changes in the liberal international order and how international organizations are responding to a shifting world order. She has interned for Congresswoman Terri Sewell, taught English at a bilingual school in Aix-en-Provence, and was recently named a 2025 Schaeffer Fellow. In her free time, Darden enjoys reading, spending time outside, and trying new foods.
